From the President – November 2025
It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as your East Bay Chapter President this past year. As I wrap up this final “From the President” message, I’m grateful for the opportunity to build on the work of past presidents and board members. My goal for 2025 was to help position our chapter as a premier resource for timely, actionable training and professional development for our members, and I’m proud of what we accomplished together.
This year we hosted well-attended, high-impact sessions on Irrigation Electrical Troubleshooting, How Field Supervisors Can Be Their Best, and Developing a Successful Safety Program. These programs only came together because of the time and expertise shared by our speakers, the support of our sponsors, and the engagement of members who showed up ready to learn and share.
We also made time for fun. From our various networking meetups to the December 7th Holiday Party at Da Boccery in Livermore, it was great to see so many industry professionals—along with their significant others and kids—playing bocce ball and enjoying time together outside of work.
Looking ahead to the New Year, I’m excited to pass the leadership torch to our incoming President, Maria Jehs from AJ’s Landscaping. I’ll continue serving on the Board as Immediate Past President and look forward to supporting Maria and the entire Board as we continue to advance our industry and promote professionalism.
Lastly, I want to wish you all Happy Holidays, and I hope to see many of you at our New Year kickoff networking event at Fieldwork Brewing in San Ramon on January 15th.
Signing off,
Cassidy Lundin
President, CLCA East Bay Chapter

Call for Entries for CLCA Film Festival
Aspiring Hollywood directors and Instagram influencers are invited to enter their cinematic masterpieces in the First Annual CLCA Film Festival.
The short videos will be displayed on the upcoming CLCA Pro Tips YouTube channel. CLCA members may email submissions to x-files@clca.org or upload to clca.org/upload.
In an age of shrinking attention spans and visual-first platforms, short-form video content is king. YouTube and Instagram are no longer just for dance trends and comedy skits, they’re powerful tools for landscape contractors to showcase their work, demonstrate their expertise and generate local leads.
